Auckland Film Studios – Getzner Acoustic Underlay
Hancock Industrial partnered with Hayden Rollet (Primary Contractor) and Marshall Day (Acoustic Consultants) in supplying 2000m2 of Getzner Sylomer Acoustic Underlay SR11 to the Auckland Film Studios, in Henderson.
The project was driven by Auckland Unlimited an Auckland Council Organisation. The project was one of the largest single full surface bearing applications in New Zealand of the Getzner Sylomer product. The product is widely used throughout Europe, and has many applications where structure born noise and vibration is an issue. This is of particular relevance in the intensification of high density living and infrastructure development currently happening in New Zealand. Sylomer has the ability, given the correctly specified grade, to reduce the transmission of vibration and noise significantly to allow heavy infrastructure and people to peacefully co-exist. Applications include construction, rail, swimming pools, gymnasiums, music studios, highways and any other industrial environments.
